Trouble in Westville.

"Officer, you have to help me!" she began in a fit just as she stepped into the counter room of the lekki phase 2 police station.
"Madam, what is the matter?" the officer on duty inquired, stunned at the sudden unexpected entrance of the woman into the police station.
She was a beautiful lady, fair skinned, light complexioned. She wore her hair a long blonde color with a D&G clutch purse in her hand and a pair of slip-ons on her feet. Her dress was simple yet chic. Her face was red and her hair was scattered.
The officer could only imagine what kind of trouble she was in. Was she being pursued by robbers? Or under some threat to her life?
Or perhaps a serious marital issue.
"criminals! They are criminals! And they are after my life! Help me officer!" she cried out, almost getting hysterical.
"calm down madam," he bid her. "Take it easy."
The officer brought out a register to fill in her personal information. "what is your name?" "Kerry. Mrs. Kerry U." she replied. She was married.
"Ok Mrs. Kerry, please tell me what happened."
"What happened!?" she exclaimed, "they are ruining my life. They are after me officer. Every day and every night! They keep harassing me. These rascals! They never let me rest!"
By this time some officers standing by had already turned their attention to the scene inside the counter room.
"okay. Please calm down madam. Can you describe these people?"
" describe them!?" she retorded. "ahh, they are outside right now."
Outside? The officer wondered. What kind of criminals would follow a victim all the way to a police station?
"okay madam" he replied. He put away his logbook. "sargeant!" he called out with a loud voice and two other hefty armed officers came into the counter room.
"there are some unscrupulous hoodlums who are threatening the life of this woman here. Lets go and get them... Just follow me." The three officers marched hurriedly outside with Mrs. Kerry keeping ahead of them.
On getting outside the station, there was no sign of any such persons loitering around. Kerry was walking towards a vehicle parked across the road from the station. It was an expensive looking luxurious SUV with dim tinted glass. The engine was still running. The officers approached with caution, but the car did not move. Kerry however walked boldly to the drivers side, so the officers followed suit. There was no one in the drivers seat. No one in the passengers seat either.
"where are they madam?" the officer asked, wondering at the situation.
"they are right here." she called as she opened the back door. The policemen were surprised at what they saw.
"arrest them officers!" Kerry shouted.
* * *
The two little children in the back seat looked up with bulging eyes at Kerry and the fearful looking policemen. They had never seeen their mommy this angry. The little girl looked barely six years old and was almost a replica of her mothers beauty. The boy was already crying.
"mommy, we wont do it again...sorry mommy!" they pleaded between sniffs and sobs.
"we promise mommy, we are sorry!" they begged in tears.
Kerry wasnt listening to their pleas this time.
"I told you, the next time you kids put chewing gum in my hair, i would lock you up inside police station. Oya! Officer, arrest them!"
As the officer reluctantly reached for his handcuff, the kids cried, knowing that if they were going to jail then mommy was definitely not going to buy them ice-cream in the afternoon.
